Prime Minister Modi's Flag Hoisting Ceremony

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort, marking the 79th Independence Day celebrations.

Flying Officer Rashika Sharma assisted in the flag hoisting, followed by a shower of flower petals from two Mi-17 helicopters of the Indian Air Force, one carrying the national flag and the other the 'Operation Sindoor' flag.
